St. John’s 2024

We like to BOGG IT BOGG IT! After making our post-covid debut in Kelowna last year, we were primed and ready to make a huge entrance for St. John’s! After rocking the roof off of opening ceremonies as a conspiracy of lemurs, we had set the tone for the comeback of the ages. Hanging out with all our best friends, we spent competitor interaction day exploring the breathtaking beauty of St. John’s. From the amazing views of Signal Hill, to the underground beauty at the Johnson Geo Center, we got to take in the rich history and culture of the province's capitol. On the technical exhibition day, we blew everyone away with our toboggan’s never before seen, and innovative pizza braking, wowing both the technical and the concrete judges with our design and presentation. Race day was an EARLY morning as we traveled 195 kilometers to White Hills Resort, where dreams were made.. and some were shattered. Sadly, we were hot to handle, as we were unable to race due to concerns over our brakes being too awesome and causing everyone to fall into a frenzy of rage and jealousy. However, that night, our hard work paid off as our comeback was officially confirmed. The mighty lemurs of the Edmonton rainforest will forever be remembered as GNCTR 2024’s Most Improved Team, scoring a solid 7th place without ever going down the hill. Now we are pumped and fired up to do even better next year!
